Protection as second nature. Ownership as first principle.

Egeon Protection is a private security firm based in Nice, working with UHNW families, executives, and corporations across the French Riviera. We don't just cover this coast — we know every inch of it.

Operating principles

Four things that define the firm.

How we protect clients, data, and the trust placed in us.

LEADERSHIP, ON CALL

An assessment is only as good as what happens after it. Every finding comes with a response — executed by qualified, trained personnel who've handled the countermeasure before, not just studied it.

ONE COAST, FULLY EQUIPPED

Based on the French Riviera, built for it — secured communications, controlled data storage, and the logistics to move fast across Nice, Cannes, Monaco, and Saint-Tropez. Not a satellite office covering territory it doesn't know.

FIELD-TESTED LEADERS

Our founding partners built their careers protecting UHNW principals and family offices, in the environments where a mistake is expensive and a second chance rarely comes. That's the standard the firm operates to, not a slogan on a page.

OWNERSHIP HAS NO FINE PRINT

No subcontracted layers, no diluted accountability. What we commit to, we deliver — and what a client tells us stays inside the firm, at every level, without exception.

Capabilities

Six capabilities. One coordinated response.

Each capability stands on its own, and each is briefed against the same terrain — the properties, roads, harbours and seasons of this coast.

01

Residential protection

Permanent or seasonal presence at a property, staffed by vetted officers who know the difference between a delivery and a reconnaissance visit.

02

Vulnerability audits

We find the access point a contractor left open, the routine that's too predictable, the gap between what your alarm covers and what it doesn't.

03

Security drivers

Vetted, defensively trained drivers — the alternative to stepping into a car driven by someone whose background no app actually checks.

04

Counter-surveillance

Detecting when a principal or executive team is being watched, followed, or profiled — before it becomes an approach, a break-in, or worse.

05

Crisis management

A structured response plan and a team that has rehearsed it, for the events no client wants to plan for but every client should.

06

Critical site security

Control and supervision for properties, events, or infrastructure that require a level of coordination beyond a single guard post.

Founder's note

The Riviera doesn't value general knowledge. It rewards knowing which entrance avoids paparazzi, where and how watches get ripped off, who's about to sell the alarm code. That's the only kind of expertise worth paying for.

Laurent Bordin — Founder & CEO

Operations note

I recruit people who've already been tested — former military, most of them, our shared background. I test a system the same way: assume people and tech will fail at some point, and only deploy assets able to adapt and overcome. That's why every route has an alternate, every audit finding comes with a fix, every officer has a backup.

The habit that undid the system

A property near Monaco had a capable alarm system, installed to a high standard — but nobody had asked how the family actually lived. A skylight left open each summer for the cat sat in a disarmed perimeter zone. It was through that window that intruders entered, reaching the parental suite before the father woke and they fled — but not before the damage was done.

The reconnaissance before the attempt

A custody dispute across two jurisdictions turned into a real abduction risk. Our team identified a reconnaissance pattern near the residence and the teenager's regular schedule — and disrupted it before any attempt was made.

The door he used every morning

A Riviera business owner leaving for work through a side entrance — the one he used daily, not the property's main gate — was met by an armed team already inside. He was taken to the safe at gunpoint, his family present in the house. A valuable collection was removed. The team left the way they'd come, avoiding the majority of the property's surveillance coverage entirely. What became clear in review: the operation relied on detailed intelligence — the property's interior layout, its exterior blind spots, and the principal's own morning routine, down to the specific door he used and the time he used it. Our response covered every layer at once: a full technical security review across the principal's property and those of his immediate family, a dedicated security driver during the acute period, permanent residential security installed at both properties, and a counter-surveillance investigation to reconstruct how the intelligence had been gathered in the first place.

Partners

You hear the concern first. We take it from here.

Family offices, corporate offices, private client lawyers and real estate advisors are usually the first to hear that a family or an executive team feels exposed. We work with them under a written referral agreement, and every client they introduce receives a complimentary vulnerability audit before anything is proposed.

01

Referral agreement

A written agreement setting terms before a single introduction is made.

02

Absolute confidentiality

Your client relationship stays yours. Nothing is disclosed, cited, or marketed.

03

Complimentary first audit

Every client you introduce receives a full vulnerability audit at no cost.

01

CONFIDENTIAL CALL

A direct conversation with a partner, not a call center. No commitment, no paperwork.

02

ON-SITE ASSESSMENT

A confidential vulnerability audit of the asset, the routine, and the people involved — usually within hours.

03

TAILORED PROPOSAL

A plan built around what the audit actually found, not a standard package.

04

DEPLOYMENT

Personnel and countermeasures in place, coordinated by the same partner from day one.
